    There will be MULTIPLE RIDES, some guest speakers, show & tell time, etc. etc. I would like for everyone to participate in the organized rides together if possible. Folks can ride in the section they are most comfortable with...

    Fast:greyhounds & cheetahs (love the chase)
    Moderate:wolves & coyotes (steady and consistent)
    Leisure: Deer & Antelope (touring style)

    Other than that folks can ride where ever, when ever and with whom ever they want.

    I am helping Bill & Keila with the Smoky Mountain Recumbent Rally.

    One thing we want to do is put together a promotional piece. I need some :volunteers:. What I need is video footage of some of your best recumbent rides. If they are in East Tennessee the better.

    If you are willing to help me out, then print off the attached PDF file and upload your videos to my work FTP server. Please be mindful that videos can take up a lot of space. Don't send me hours of HD 1080 p videos. Please edit them beforehand. I am only looking for about 3 - 5 minutes of video. I can convert most formats into the video software I am using. The end result will go on You Tube. And if you send me video, you are granting me permission to use the video for this rally promotion and to upload it to YouTube.

    I appreciate it but I would need to know what you wish to volunteer for. I would like for people to look at the following list and see if they would like to volunteer for any of the positions.

    Registration at Bike shop
    Ride Leaders (will need your cell #)
    Ride Sweepers(will need your cell #)
    Game judges
    Speakers for special interest stories
    Basic helpers (will need your cell #)

    You may want to try out VolunteerSpot, as it allows you to lay out what you need and then have folks sign up for filling those needs. It's fast, free, and easy to keep up with.(It's what Kelley Segars uses for the Bike Knoxville events.)

    The Cove will be open that Saturday. One of the organized rides will be a Cove loop ride. If any of you want to see what that is like look at lognotcher's videos on YouTube. Ed shoots great film and the thrill of being able to ride car free for 11 miles through the forest in the Smokies on glass smooth roads....well.....
