Buddy,

That would be neat and we'd love to ride in it again. However, Laurie is recuperating tonight. She had surgery this morning to remove her gallbladder and had a difficult time in recovery. Thankfully she did not have to be admitted to the hospital but is still having some difficulty breathing as well as being rather sore.

Also, her 6 month cancer follow-up did not go as well as we had hoped. Her urologist said the changes (a nodule) found in the kidney was just normal post operative changes. However a second nodule was found in her lung that may or may not be cancer. Her doctors feel it is most likely not cancer and more likely related to the pneumonia she had after her kidney surgery in March. But it is too small to biopsy and find out so all they can do is continue to watch it over the next 6 months to see if it stays the same or not.

Due to all her health problems we have not been able to ride much at all this year. Plus, right now she is so far in the hole on sick leave at work we probably won't be able to go anywhere for the next couple of years.

Remind her she has friends in TN, and I will send up a prayer for her
complete recovery.

 

Mike give Laurie my best and tell her I miss her. I will be keeping her close in my thoughts and prayers and hope she continues to improve and be well again. We'd love to see you all but I fully understand her being in the 'hole' on sick leave.

 

Make sure you read this thread to her. We love you Laurie!!!!
