My most recent ride in 2022 (part XV in the series)

Hi all!

Yeah, I lapsed into silence again. Probably because I've been riding so little and what rides I've done have been under 4 miles and and tedious.

I had hoped to change that with rides in Denmark between December 19th to 21st, but circumstances didn't cooperate. Since getting home, weather wasn't much help either, especially as I flap around trying to find replacements for my bar mitts so i can ride in icy temps without frost nip on the finger tips.

Yesterday finally cooperated, but it turns out the road salt I thought I'd rinsed off before wrapping the trike for the Denmark trip wasn't as rinsed as I thought, so issues with brakes and derailleur being stuck. I did a whopping 1.3 miles.

Explanation for everything on my blog now that I have my computer up and running again. For now. *glares at the machine in warning*

Only a photo of an 1100's round church from the single failed ride I attempted. Attempted meaning, I drove to the starting point before deciding, 'Nope! Not riding in 25 F rain that turns to ice as soon as it hits a surface.'

Oh! And Happy New Year to all! Hopefully we'll all have a better 2023 than all the rest of our years on this world. Or at least better than the start of decade has been.
