 I just saw this evening's national news and where Kansas was getting pounded with snow. Living in TN, I often forget the weather in other places. :duh:

I love Colorado and visit there when we can. But there are a few reasons I don't live there. You just named 24 of them...

Love the mountains but as I age I don't handle the snow as well as I used to. Winter camping is now out and this is supposed to be spring!!!

You don't need a (remote) photo-site to post pictures here. All you do is just drag-n-drop your photo into your post and wha-la, done! (See here for more details.)

It rides well on our dirt roads here in the Mountains. I bet except for deep sand it would do ok in Hobbs. I have clearance for 2.125 tires and if you run them softer (40-45 #) they might even work as well as the 3" ones. It would seriously limit the turning ability however. To get a Fat tire trike you need to design from the frame up.

Utah Trikes, Fat Tad Crawler; 4" tires (4 to 20 psi); 9" ground clearance; +20 ft turning radius; approaching $3,000. 70 pounds!! There's road bikes, mountain bikes, and now this is a completely different genre. No wonder they call it The Beast.
