Now Dennis don't let Jon scare you off.I came from 35 years in so.cal. and so.west Arizona, and i never noticed the humidity when i got stranded in Tn. for 17 years.:jiggy9:
Of course i was here 6 years before i put on a pair of long pants too.And that was just to make people shut up about it during the terribly warm blizzard we had.

Jon ,that ain't got anything to do with him being a yankee does it? :no9:

Dennis, the UP has always been on my radar. actually that and the BWCA, I'd love to spend some time up thar in the snow. I'd probably do the BWCA in the summer and make it a canoe trip for a week but a few weeks in the snow would be great. just as long as i can skidaddle back to bama when i git tard of it...

coyboy, usually if one wants to visit the UP for snow, the last week of February or first week of March is hard to beat. By then the snow is usually pretty deep, the countryside beautiful and the weather usually has gotten a bit milder. That week usually also gives some good sunshine and the days have lengthened a bit.

calboy, perhaps we also spent some time in your old stomping grounds as we wintered 5 years near Yuma, AZ. Actually where we stayed was on the west side of the Colorado River so we were in So. Cal., close to the dunes.

    Keep smiling!
    Dennis

Does that include the first every ride of a recumbent. Well when I rented the first recumbent I was comfortable with it at the first 10th of a mile. Or as soon as I got on and found out hey I don't have to balnance I just have to peddle my butt off and HEY I took of like a bat out of blazes LOL. Now I find myself more and more comfortable with riding all ovet the place in the spring. Oh btw Coy Boy you're such a brat. I"m sitting in like 22 degree weather freezing my butt off and wanting to ride.

    cheers
