We are a Recreational Recumbent Cycling Organization. Our purpose is to help educate others about the various available cycles and simply enjoy the FUN of riding them! Out of a goal to meet others and discuss unique issues related to these oddly different cycles, our local club began to expand. New members began to join outside our immediate locale and we soon realized a need for others to be able to connect with one-another in their own local regions, just as we have done.
Out of that awareness, Recumbent Riders International (RRI) was formed as a common gathering place for Recumbent Riders from all over the world. Here is a place we hope you will find others, to share your interests and/or curiosity in RECUMBENTS with, as well as locate a few riding partners along the way.
While we recognize & appreciate the benefits of a large discussion board, what we really value is the ‘Small-Town' feeling of meeting new friends in your own area and meeting up to ride occasionally for the simple reason: It’s great FUN! And since having fun is the key element for how long you’ll continue to participate in something, that’s simply what we’re all about.
As our small group began to form, we scheduled a few easy rides and found out just how much we enjoyed each others company and the fellowship of it all. Some went on to ride together in organized events in the area and some enjoyed introducing others to exactly what a Recumbent was at local events, while others participated in multi-day tours around the country from time to time. To us, it’s all about having fun and showing others what Recumbent Cycling really is:

While we realize we’ll continue to grow and gain more & more users which we openly welcome, what we hope to always offer is: A place where you can find out about others, converse with them and perhaps meet-up with others for a local ride in your own area.
Anyway, we’d like to take this opportunity to say THANXX for stopping by and certainly hope you find your time here beneficial. We’re always OPEN to questions and suggestions from everyone, so feel free to speak up if you’re wondering about anything on the board here, and by all means CHIME-IN as often as you want in the forums.
