My '99 model V-Rex is for sale. The Velocity wheelset has been sold so the stock wheels have been put back on. The price has been reduced to $900 accordingly.

This includes a TerraCycle glide flex stem, riser, handlebar, and Easy Reacher underseat rack; RANS seat bag and rear rack; Shimano LX crankset and XT front derailleur; SRAM 9.0 carbon fiber shifters, 9.0 rear derailleur, 9.0 V-brakes with carbon levers and a PC59 chain; and a Cane Creek S2 headset. The original Rans "preying hamster" handlebars goes along with the bike.

The bike may be 8 years old and I've put a few miles on it but it is in excellent condition.

    Again, the price is $900.

Oops, forgot to post pictures of the V-Rex. The wheelset shown in the picture has been sold and the underseat rack is not mounted.

I have to brag on this bent. Mike let me try his V-Rex when I was looking to buy a "new" used bent. It turns out the one I bought on eBay is the exact same year as this one. But it doesn't have all the cool stuff on it and it cost me more BEFORE shipping. This is a good price!!

A V-Rex is a mature design but one that is hard to beat. It is fast yet compact. Compact two wheel bents are the number one category of bents sold according to RCN. Mike has taken good care of this bent and it gets serviced often by the same mechanic (Doc at Greenlees) who services my bent. So this is a JEWEL of a bent. I just wished Mike announced selling it BEFORE I bought mine off Ebay.

Santa will make someone very happy with this bent!!! Trust me!!!! I LOVE mine!!!! (I bought the Velocity wheel set Mike mentioned he no longer has and I REALLY LOVE that wheel set. I never put the stock set back on.)

Well you fellows have choosen a really nice bike, the compact layout of the V-Rex is way cool not to mention many other great feature and benifits.

After riding a couple of LWB bikes for the past few months I sorta look forward to getting back to a SWB late this summer. Thinking something with not too high a Bottom Bracket like perhaps the V-Rex or Giro 20.
