Here's a couple photos of a traditional trike that has been lowered and stretched. The original wheelbase was right at 40" and now it's at 68". It's a 3 speed and needs it since this thing weighs in at about 70 pounds. 20" wheels all around. Rides as good as Buddy's Greenway. LOL. Voice an opinion on this one, okay? Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings.

    Safe Rides,

From the pictures, it certainly looks like a mass-produced vehicle.(That's supposed to be a compliment :wink9:)

I agree with AD, if you hadn't said you'd done the work, I would have thought it was a mass produced bike! Looks very nice.

Wow, that almost looks like the SUN EZ-Tri Classic that I have on my shop floor. That is a job well done.

The trike has had an accident. I received an email this morning from the fella that bought the trike from me. It seems that while unloading it from the rear of his truck, it slipped from his hands and fell on the left rear wheel. The tire exploded, the wheel was bent beyond repair, and the axle was bent to the point that it is not usable. I haven't any idea what steps he's going to take to have it repaired, but it's going to cost him some yen to get it back on the road. I suppose it will be some time before folks see him back on the road with the trike.

In another email I received this morning one of the standard trikes I built for a young boy with autism was being checked out by his father. Dad got a little excited and took the trike off road. From what I understand he got on a downhill and lost control, went over a small cliff and broke his leg and believe it or not destroyed the whole front triangle. They will be bringing it back to me for repair this coming week. Some Father's Day, huh??

    Safe Rides,

    Crashes and stuff.

You never know. Had four skin removing crashes all caused by dogs, if
you want to call Mickey a dog. That was my fault trying to run him off
the road and hit his rear wheel.

Just missed hitting a truck head on last week. He was going slow, but
on my side of the road as I topped a hill on a curve. It was with the
silver Mini and it was all I could do to hold it. That was the real first
test of the bike and it was scary. It's a bit top heavy and not made
    for such.

I'll have a low slung RANS Cruz this week. I built it from a frame kit.
This is the same bike that started out as a frame kit and traveled trails
    in Canada.

I'm riding a lot, so don't jump on me for too many bikes. Just keep the
welder hot and keep turning out all those bikes. Variety is the spice of
life. I told Mary that and she told me to stick with my bikes.

This is my bike when Aqua rode the Canada trails for hundreds of
miles. She kept the wheels and I started it with all my own componets
and wheels. I'll do a review later.

    This is a nice read:

Oh, ok, my bad. I clicked the link and got a pic of a custom touring MTB, and had to go see about a dog. Didn't get to investigate the whole tour story. :jiggy9:I tried one of those Crank Forward version, but just could not seem to get the feel of it. Interesting though and pretty bike.

That's OK, Yoda can't know he's been hijacked anyway. Who knows,
he may come up with something like one of these. I think he already
has, but I'd have to do a search and I'm tired now.

This is Aqua's picture of the bike....just for the record.

I can see that Gene has tried to hijack the thread, Buddy. But then we all know that Gene has been slipping for a long time. I can forgive him this time.:o_O9:

That Cruz is a nice looking bike. I've had two of them and had to sell both because of the vibration I got through the handlebars into my wrist. Nothing wrong with the bike, it was my wrist that there was a problem with. You see I have a stainless steel plate in it. The wrist doesn't bend because of the plate and therefore because there is no flex, the vibrations travel straight up my arm. Oh well, another personal problem. LOL.:confused9:

Now Gene, please try to get back on track.

    Safe Rides,
    Yoda
