TerraTrike Cruiser for sale. Bike is in excellent shape. No scratches, scuffs, or dings. Bike is 24 speed w/front disc brakes. Upgrades to the trike are as follows: Avid BB7 Disc Brakes, Schwalbe Marathon Racer Tires, Locking disc brake lever for parking, Terratrike seatbag, Sunlite aluminium rear bike rack, Upgraded to 10 tooth front idlers, Thumb shifters, Bontrager Speedometer. The trike has a medium boom.
Bike is in beautiful shape, runs great, and very comfortable to ride. I bought this bike brand new back in late summer of 2010 while in Florida. I have about $2000. in the bike with all the upgrades, and am asking $1500 for the bike. I live in southeast Michigan between Detroit & Ann Arbor.
Selling bike because I just acquired my new baby, an Ice Sprint RS.

So how does the Sprint compare to your Cruiser? I just upgraded from a Cruiser to a Catrike Expedition. The major difference I have seen is that the Expedition handles better at higher speeds.

I love the Sprint, but I really didn't do my homework well enough when I bought it. The Sprint is about 2" narrower than the Cruiser, didn't like that at first but getting used to it. The seat on the Sprint is about 1 3/4 -2" narrower, and the steering is also 2" narrower. The Sprint seems to run quiter and smoother than the Cruiser. And the big difference I noticed is taking it out on its first ride of any length (15 miles). I had a Cateye Velo 5 speedometer on the bike when I got it and the wheel size is set to 20" (which it is) and it showed on the over all ride I was averaging 12.5 Mph. When I looked at the graph on Endomondo from my phone bike program that I use on every ride to log the data, it showed that most of the time I was averaging around 15 or better. On one stretch I was doing 18 for about 3/4 of a mile. I picked up about 3-5 mph better on the Sprint. I just put a wireless Sigma 1609 STS w/cadence on the Sprint, so I did a rolling data size on it and came out to 1492. So I hope that the speeds were not lying to me with the Cateye.
I love the Cruiser, it has been great for me, but I have moved up and need to sell it. That and my wifes Catrike Villager that I bought her last summer and has only about 3 rides for a total of about 17 miles on it.

First one was just at a small local park behind the city administration building here in Canton, the second one is a small lake on Hines Drive (Parkway). That's a nice drive for you if you live somewhat close. It goes from Dearborn to Northville (MI). It's a what they call Hines Park in the Metro Area. You can probably Google it. Round trip it's about 35-40 miles. (all park)
Where in Ohio do you live? I was thinking of maybe starting or co-ordinating a "Put-In Bay ride". I used to take the kids and fly there on a Saturday or Sunday, and rent a golf cart at the airport, ride around and fly back home when we were done.
Really cool place. Think I could get some people interested?

Yes it's like a trike shop in the garage. Trying to sell the Terratrike Cruiser, and now the wife has semi made up her mind, I am also selling her Catrike Villager that I bought her last summer.

Ok..Hines Park, yes I have heard of it. Dont they close the road down on Saturday morning for cyclist? Put in Bay would be interesting. I did the MS Bike to the Bay last year and after 75 miles I was too wore out to take the Jet Express across. Is your wife going to upgrade to a different trike? One good thing about trike's is they hold their value pretty well.

Well, actually she has the decision to choose either the Catrike Villager or a 2011 Ice Adventure. When I acquired the Ice Sprint that I just got the guy also had bought his wife an Adventure at the same time. So he really did not want to seperate them. So I bought them both with the intention of selling the Adventure. I asked her which one she wants or if she wants one at all. The Catrike only has to or three rides on it. She rode it twice for a total of probably 2-3 miles, and my daughter took it out with me once for a 15 mile ride, otherwise sits in garage since end of last summer. I told her either we can have an expensive bike that just sits in the garage and doesn't get ridden, or we can have a very expensive bike that sit in the garage and doesn't get ridden, make up your mind. She says to keep the Adventure becuase it folds and maybe we can get both in HHR, IF she wants to go riding.
    Makes me kinda :jiggy9: (NUTS)
