Biking Sandals for sale

I have a like-new pair of Lake Cycling sandals I ordered. The problem is, they're too small for me. They're 11 1/2's, I should have ordered size 12.

I've only worn them one time. Anyone interested?

 

where are you located? I would be interested if you're close enough (I'm in knoxville) so that I could try them on first. I usually wear 11ish so they might be too big for me.

I live in Winchester, west of Chattanooga, near Tullahoma. But my daughter goes to college in Jefferson City, east of Knoxville. So I get up that way every now and then. The next time I go through Knoxville, I'll post here first. Then I could call you when I get there.

Art Hagood of Easy Chair Bikes says we should buy shoes slightly larger than our regular size if we ride 'bents, because we're on them long enough that our feet swell when we're riding. Maybe 11 1/2 will be just the right size for you. Anyway, you could try them on. I could give you a good deal on them if you buy them.

 

Hey, you should bring your bent to Knoxville. I ride at lunch time Monday - Friday (not every day but several times each week). If you are coming through and want someone to show you the Knoxville Greenways, let me know. I would love a riding partner.

It's about time I meet the founder of ROCKET Riders anyway!

The problem, Jon, is I teach school down here, so the only times I get up that way are on the weekends. But maybe we could ride then sometime. I'll let you know when I'm coming through.

 

If you are a teacher, don't you get summers off? (My wife is a 3rd grade teacher.)

But let me know when you are coming through. I don't ride much on weekends (as the other club members will attest to). I have too much other stuff going on. So I ride at lunch.

But do give me a holler. I have a quick 10 mile loop around my house that is beautiful back roads. You could come to my house and we both take off from there. Just give me some advance notice.

Sounds like a plan. Just let me know when you're planning on coming. I would also be willing to send you money via paypal and have you ship them to me. If they are too big then I could ship them back and you could refund the payment. I would be willing to cover shipping both ways (or just the one hopefully ). But I'm really in no big rush, so either is fine with me.

 

Phil, I might be passing through Knoxville this Thursday evening to go pick up my daughter in Jeff City. Probably around 7 to 7:30 p.m. I wouldn't have a lot of time. Could you suggest a place to meet on either side of Knoxville, a ramp off of I-40? I usually exit 40 east of the city to take Hwy. 11E to Jefferson City, too.

That way you could try on the sandals and see if they fit. They're new, I only wore them one time.

It's a pretty straight forward on/off ramp. I googled around and it looks like there's a convenience store called Favorite Market if you took a left after exiting. If it helps the address is:

About how much were you thinking for the sandals anyways? Probably good to get some sort of a ballpark before we set up a meeting and everything

 

Well, Phil, it appears I won't be coming up there tomorrow after all. My daughter changed the plans.

But when I do, the Cherry Street Exit will work just fine. I'll let you know when.

The sandals regularly sell for around $70, I think. But when I bought them they were on sale from Nashbar for a little over $50. A fellow rider tipped me off to the sale. As I said, they're like new. I can negotiate if you so desire, but I'd like to get $30 for them.
