Sunday I was coming home and saw one of my friends well. Friend rides a Streamliner well I tried to pass him so could get home. He and I were talking. He says I gotta Go Shawn. Well the Speed limit is 20 mph. I look up a few seconds and next thing I knew it he was gone and I do mean gone. He had 27 speeds on his streamer compared to 21 on my EZ 3 SX well. Has anyone else been toasted by one of those riders.

I know the owner/pilot of the streamliner, "Great White." He did the Avita Water Black Bear this year (100 miles) in 3:42, which is 27 mph average. While I can do that for a few miles at a crack, he can do 35+ mph for miles at a time on flat ground. So, there's no shame in being dusted by a streamliner. Different class of vehicle. Which is why I don't pay much attention when I pass a single upright rider somewhere out on a ride.

One would think that being fully enclosed during hot weather would cause an engine meltdown and total loss of vehicle & crew.

That is why I would do the enclosing of it for the winter and early spring if it was possible to take off I'd do that for the late spring and early summer.

Yeah, he ran Great White with an 'open cockpit.' The section of the bubble directly above his head was removed, making it sort of a convertible.
