Another fine winter day in the neighborhood! Over on the Left Coast up in Humboldt County we have had many beautiful riding days lately. I was graced with a very peaceful 30 mile ride today out on the Samoa Peninsula. cookhouse1(1).jpg '96 Haluzak Horizon

Nice looking ride, I especially like the stays on the side of the seat to insure it never bends backwards any .

Did you make your own heel-stays? I don't think I've ever seen them before.

I did make the Jacob plates (heel catchers). As a flat pedal kind of guy I needed to keep the feet from flying on the rough roads in our the neighborhood. I'm actually going to mod these a bit today and I'll post a pic. They also allow me to totally relax and expend zero energy keeping my feet up. Can use all the help I can get. :yes9:

    Cheers, MAC

Heel Slings used to be pretty good too. I used to get "heel slings" in my shop all the time. Then the supplier stopped selling them to dealers. He started selling direct. Sucked when people would bring their slings in for us to install though.:o_O9
