I just put new pair of Marathon Plus 20"x1,35" and I want to share some experience here.
Once you grab them, you can immediatelly tell, that this is robust almost bombproof tire. Quite heavy, but definitely durable.
To put them on rims was a wrestling of several rounds and I still can't belive that all my tire levers survived. Definitely hope that they will follow their advertising, because I have NO intention to take them off on a roadside to patch some puncture...

What is a very significant WOW factor, at least for me, is how little they hold on the ground. So far no problems with braking, but steering... On a dry smooth tarmac I can feel and actually even SEE how understeered my trike suddenly is! And despite that, they don't even leave black marks on tarmac. I tried sharp turn on one spot several times and same happened every single time and absolutely nothing was left there to be spot.
Previously I had Marathon Racer 20"x1,50" and I was able to hear them through turns, but otherwise, no sign of of anything inappropriate.
With Marathon Plus I can actually SEE them going sideways.
I already read about them, that they are skiddish on wet surface, but I am still surprised by this performance even on dry sunny day.
On a trike that is more like odd gimmick, but be careful on bikes!

I can't recall offhand, what tires I was putting on one of my bikes wherein I broke 2 of three synthetic tire levers I had...but I too remember quite a wrestling match with them a lot during the whole process. Anyway, after that I picked up some steel tire levers and so far they've lasted well.

Go to Y tube, Marathon Plus install, and watch someone putting Marathon Plus on just by hand Also my dealer is able to also install by hand. Shows him doing mounting in about 5 minutes :idunno:

Today, I got caught by rain.
So now i can tell, how are M-plus when wet.
Even worse (of course), but not as much as I was expecting, but still.
On flat clean but wet tarmac, it is worse just slightly, but as conditions got worse and worse (bumps, white lines, cobble stones), traction is going down...I'd say progressivly. Seems that wet conditions multiply that decrease of traction, rather then simply add to it.
Braking shows more decresed power of brakepads, rather than issue with traction, so no big deal there.
That being said, on a trike it is something that is good to know, but still no big deal, on a two wheeler, I'd rather pick another tires, unless you live next to a nail factory...

Update on Marathon Plus, just got order in on my tiers and started to install. Installed as per U Tube using plastic ties. 26 x 1.35 took all of fifteen minutes. just follow what is shown as to pushing tire onto rim. Took some getting used to , but it works. Yes had to use soap and tire levers . but it works as told on U Tube :luck:

Thanks the first and second u tube note that both use plastic ties that is what really helped and also pushing the tire by hand as noted
    :thanks:

Well, I guess that significant helping factor is, that nobody is putting on 20". Smaller the wheel, lesser of space to play...
