I found a "used" EZ-Tad SX, 24 speed trike, kinda being shoved to the back of the showroom at AngleTech, here in Colorado Springs and decided it needed a new home! :) Lucky for me the excellent folks at Angletech have a "layaway" program for us "cash strapped" recumbent riders so with $100 down I've paid it off over the last 4 months and put my Eco-Tad SX on "consignment sale" at the shop. After the "sizing" and a couple of adjustments and new tires, I had them change out the stock 30x40x52 chain wheel set for a MTB, 22/32/44 set so I can still get up the local HILLS, LOL! It's a fun trike, no it's not fast and it like most SunSeeker's doesn't care for "fast cornering" but I REALLY LIKE, the "steering set up" over the "very tall tiller bars" on the Eco-Tad SX. The EZ-Tad SX feels like a sport car next to the Eco Tad SX. Put in a 11 mile test ride and very happy with the switch. LOL, I know that Sunseeker is the "Red Haired Stepchild" of recumbents but I've owned and enjoyed a EZ-1 SX bike, EZ Sport AX bike, Eco-Tad SX trike and now the EZ-Tad SX trike and they all have worked well for me and my style/pace of riding! :)

ha, ha Ask any DF rider and they'll (probably) tell you that ALL recumbents are red-headed stepchildren of the biking world :twitcy: . Never-mind them though, I'm with you. If it FITS and it's FUN, job well done! ENJOY! :heelclick: . We purchased our RANS Screamer from Kelvin at Angletech and were impressed at how well they built it up to our specs.

LOL, ya I'm sure your right, DF riders still think you HAVE to have a handicap to actually WANT to ride a recumbent, especially a TRIKE! ;)

While trikes may be a little harder to transport, they do offer the best seat for miles whenever you're out! And not having to un-clip at intersections...priceless. :jiggy9:
