Ward has a Venom, which shares the same frame as the Viper I believe. He's posted Venom Update and Venom 2nd Renovation which you might find somewhat helpful. I like the things he's done with it and would probably follow-suit if I had one. :wink9:

also like to mention that my kmx and my TerraTrike rover 8, bought new in 2011 and to date has never been inside of a LBS, and never had any major issues, but the kmx i think is about to go in to get the wheel alignment checked, one front wheel wearing quicker than the other, but i guess flying off curbs and bumping curbs to crawl over will do that, i ride my kmx like a teen rides his bmx lol

I have a KMX Tornado F8 and recently finished 10,000 miles on it. Still a great ride. Bought it new in 2011.

on my f8 i had to upgrade the front wheels to 20 inch, i have problems squatting that low, and had to put handle bar extensions on (gave me a 90 degree angle on bars) my hands are shot even after 2 surgeries , and needed the extensions to remount my grips and shifters so i could shift gears, and added a derailer hanger to add a "T" to the boom to grab as i get up, and since it was there i upgraded to a triple chainring, now thinking fatter tires? i could never sell this trike i got way more into it than its worth lol, but its just how i need and want it to be, almost lol

Bought a KMX kit from Utah Trikes and then went 9 speed rear and triple front. Then built up fronts with KMX hubs for a 26(559) all around. Runs great and soaks up bumps like suspension with 1.95 tires. KMX frames are the best for lower cost experimentation and are versitile and bullet proof.

Yes, KMX trikes are VERY adaptable.
