OK, I have the first question. I see your seat angle appears to be pretty well 'fixed', so how did you arrive at the angle?

Once I've set my adjustable seat angle on my bent, I rarely ever change them. Usually, it's only when someone else wants to ride one, that I ever adjust it to a less reclined position. :wink9:

Er, I sort of guessed it, sat back carefully after tacking it in place and it felt right so I then seam welded it into place then added the stays for a bit of extra triangulation :)

Ok shortened the seat, built a Bottom Bracket, worked out a chain tensioner from an old Subaru cambelt pulley and added some pvc pipe for the chains slack side.
I've even ridden it along the path outside for 50 yards, no brakes yet so it was a very slow and short ride, also a fairly wobbly ride being my first recumbent try out, can't wait to get it finished now!!

I practised sitting on it and back pedalling whilst leaned against the wall of my alley, built up a bit of expected balance before it could be used.
I reckon that helped a lot!
