SWB Recumbent, lightly used. Maybe 2000 miles on it total. I bought it second hand about a year ago and have put about 300 of those miles on it. It's extremely comfortable to ride and I had very little trouble learning to ride this style of bike.

The threading for the water bottle mount (shown in one of the pictures) is stripped. As far as I know outside of normal wear this is the only problem.

This is for local pickup only - Knoxville, TN. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Sorry it took me so long to get back here. I had a computer problem and actually thought it hadn't posted originally so I hadn't bothered to check for replies.

I bought the bike second hand from a guy in St. Louis about a year ago. What he told me was that a local frame builder had built the bike and modeled it after the Vision R-40. I really don't know much more about it's origin, but the welds all seem to be good and I haven't had any problems with it since I've bought it.

Here are some general specs on the bike:

    weight (approx): 38 LBS.
    seat height: 24 inches
    Bottom Bracket height: 27 inches
rear sprockets: Shimano Mega Range 7 speed 11t to 34t
crank set: Sakae SX triple 52t, 40t and 28t, 170mm crank arms front
derailer: Shimano Ultegra rear derailer: Shimano Deore
    shifters: SRAM M-25 twist grip
chain: Sram PC-48 with quick link master link
    brakes: V-brakes
frame: steel - I think cromoly, but I'm no metalurgist
front fork: Project Shock chrome suspension
wheels: front 20 inch, rear 700mm, both skewered quick release
other features: Frame is adjustable for inseam length by a telescoping the
bottom bracket (like a Vision recumbent) steering is also adjustable
forward and backward and also height, seat also tilts to suit riders
preference (seat is a Linear brand and has a "memory foam" cushion)

There is no rust on the frame. There are some small scratches and chips in the paint here and there, none of them go through the primer coat though. There is the normal wear you would expect after a couple thousand miles, but there are no real problems as far as I know. One of the mounting holes for the water bottle cage is stipped. I mounted one on there for a while with a hose clamp without a problem though. I don't think it has ever seen rain.

I'm 5'11" with an inseam of about 31.5". The boom could retract at least another inch, or pull out at least another 5". I think it would fit a pretty large range of people.

I have a set of fenders for it that I can include, and there are new tires and tubes that go up to about 100psi (maybe 20 miles on the set) on both wheels already.

I'm selling since I just don't really feel like recumbents fit what I need right now - I'm still young enough to deal with uprights. Also, most of my cycling is "utility" and this doesn't really fit that.

I'd be glad to show the bike to anyone interested, like I said in the first post I live in Knoxville. I could also ship it though if it were necessary. I know I said pickup only, but I came across a bike box the other day and I'm pretty sure it would fit. Buyer would pay whatever it directly costs me for shipping, no "packing fees" or what have you.

I've set the asking price at $450.
