Using some left over Deck Material (4x4s, 2x4s, Deck Planks), I made a Hauler for Our two KMX Typhoon 8 Trikes. My Short Bed $525 (I run a Truck Used Salvage Yard...:tongue9:)'95 Ranger Pickup is too short to haul one without the tailgate down, and not wide enough for two. This necessitated some "Redneck Ingenuity" to be used, so this is what I came up with. It actually works well. The KMX Frames fit snugly between eyelets coated with rubber fuel hose and can't move around, even without being bunged down. The Front Wheels fit into guides, and the cables You see can be used to lock everything to the Truck by running Them through the wheels, and over the Frames in case we go in somewhere and They're left unattended for a short while......

Loading and Unloading is fairly simple, and I have a homemade step I carry also to help my 5'7" Frame load 'em if necessary.......Having a Lota' FUN with the Trikes.....skuuter...

Looks good. Don't ya just love how black spray paint makes any project look uniform? I always try to have a can or two in my shop.

    Nice

Way to go David, I like that. AD once had a rack on the back of a PT Cruiser,
as I recall. I carry a box in my truck to stand on to be able to reach stuff. Works for me. Be careful and don't hurt yourself.

Thanxx for mentioning it Buddy, as it reminded me to (once again) go and hunt for my pictures of such. I finally found them on an old backup drive and have posted them in this thread: Transporting a Tadpole Trike...How?

    BTW, very :cool9: Setup David!

While we don't have two trikes (yet), I was already wondering how I'd haul 'em both around when we do get another one. :confused9: While Jo has a HITCHRIDER rack for a single trike, I know they make an add-on to it to carry a second trike as well. However, your setup above has got me to thinking along those lines now.
