"Mobo Riding" Tims Ford Park...

    Mitzie (My Wife) and I went out to Tims Ford State Park with the Single Speed, Cheap ($429) Mobos last Sunday. We rode the Roads and Paved Trails most of the day, and had a ball. I have a KMX Typhoon 8 coming from U-ManPower in Townsend, Tennessee (excited...:wink:) very soon also, and will post ride pics soon after getting it.....:cool9:

    The Mobos though, will definitely give You a "Leg-n-Lungs" Workout with Their "Direct-Pedal-Single-Speed-20" Front wheel". I use it daily as a Trainer....climb off of it onto most any other Bicycle, and it feels like You have an engine on it.....:laugh:.....Here are a few pics.....

    Yep, maybe not a "Real" Recumbent Trike, but still a lot of Fun.....:cool9:

    The key is you are having fun!!! Doesn't matter what the recumbent looks like, if you are using it and having fun, that is all that counts.

    You will love the KMX compared to what you are riding right now. Gears are GOOD!!! The more the better!!!!

    Yep, I've read, heard most all of the negatives.....:wink9:

    (1) Yes, You can spin the front wheel on a really steep climb

    (2) It flies down hill, even compared to my 2-wheelers...extremely stable too in a straight line, just push ever so slightly forward on both steering levers at the same time

    (3) Stops on a dime

    (4) Simple to load, unload (2 will fit into a short truck bed), and maintain

    (5) No, I don't want it for my "ONLY" Recumbent Trike (why I ordered the KMX), but still fun

    (6) We don't mind loaning these to Family and Friends (virtually indestructible, and nothing to get out of adjustment), and these have introduced Others to recumbent Triking that are shopping online and visiting Dealers to buy better/more expensive Trikes

    Even after getting my KMX, I'll still have the Mobo....too much simple, quick fun to get rid of it.....:cool9::thumbsup:

    ...and yes Rocketmantn, it's the FUN FACTOR that counts.....!!!!!!

    Thanxx for posting the pics of your Mobo's. While I've never ridden one, I'm impressed with the looks of them. They look like they're easy to adjust and appear bulletproof. Bang for the buck, very hard to compete with in my opinion. :thumbsup:

    And you bring up some very good points....

    Your story reminds me of when I re-started cycling on a $100 Huffy MTB from Roses department store. I rode it for six months, just having a blast on it. Then when I entered into a conversation or two with the cycling guys :rolleyes9: at work, they were shocked that I liked my Huffy. Their comment: "If you like your Huffy, you're going to LOVE anything else you get with better components." :laugh9:

    Which in the long run was True, but the Huffy provided me with many hours of enjoyment (and exercise)...and bang for the buck, it was quite a deal as well in it's day! :wink9:

    Got in a coupla' rides on the KMX, but we keep having heavy rain....going to the youngest Daughter's for Christmas Day.....We're taking both Mobos, and my KMX over for some "Group Demo Rides"....I should have some "Trikes in Action" Family Pics to share soon.....:wink9:
