Does anyone have an idea where to buy parts for a older Penninger Traveler Trike? I am in need of a sling type seat either mesh for something like the one pictured in the photo below. I have looked all over for one to replace my worn out mesh seat but am having no luck.

Well I guess I can't add a picture or link to one because I'm new here and haven't made 5 posts.

Hope someone might know what I'm talking about and can help me find one.

    Don

Check out Just bought a trike in Elgin, particularly post #11 and onward.

I mention this, because you might be able to ask recycled55 if he's redone his seat and if so how.

And yes, once you have a few more posts under your belt you'll be able to freely post LINKS and Pictures. :jiggy9:

Oh and BTW, :welcome: aboard Don!

I have sent him a message asking that. Haven't heard anything from him as of yet. But then his post was several years ago so maybe he don't come here anymore.

I have found someone to make me one. Not sure of the price yet or how it will work out but he seems to think he can do it.

    Thanks, Don

Sounds like you've found one path to success. :biggrin9: Be sure and report back what you come up with, as someone else (a few years from now?) may be facing the same type dilemma. :wink9:

I'm just hoping that the guy can do what he says and a good job of it. I don't know if there is anyone else out the with these trikes as Penninger I guess went out of business several years back. But I will mention it if the work is done well.

    Seat completed

Well he finished the seat for my Traveler. I think he did a very good job and am happy with it. Cost was $100.00 but considering I couldn't find anyone that had one or was willing to make one for me i'm happy with it.
