    Out of 500-600 riders in this year's Southwest Florida Tour de Cure, we had two recumbent riders. I would love to see a better turnout from the bent community in west-central Florida, and I know you're out there because I see you on trails with increasing frequency. Next year's event is April 7 at Lakewood Ranch, between Bradenton and Sarasota. It's a well-run event with rides of 10, 35, 62 and 100 miles. For info, check the website: diabetes.org/swfloridatour
