The 20th Annual Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Festival–Saturday, July 30th, 2011–offers a variety of scenic rides for both the beginner and the more experienced rider for going on twenty years. The rides range from a 12-mile family-friendly “Stroll” through downtown Harrisonburg to a 100-mile “Century Ride” over the rolling roads of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The rides start and finish at Our Community Place at 17 E. Johnson Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia; right where it crosses N. Main. Registration fee is $25 per rider, if you register by July 15th–$30 through to the day of the event. Children under twelve ride for free. All proceeds support Our Community Place.
