    Hey Folks, we finally went online. I have a ride and events calendar on the website at southjerseybents dot com

    We're trying to get a group of people together because local bike clubs have been complaining about us in the paceline.

    Come register with us, so we can all plan events together.

    I went to college in Middle TN with a guy in the late '70s who considered himself a Southerner 'cause he was from South Jersey. Hey Charlie, you out there in the ether anywhere??

    Hi,

    I am new to this forum and I am also on BROL. I just ordered my first recumbent, a Volae Century. I have been a serious day rider for over 30 years, but the pain is getting to me. Age and use of neck, wrists, etc. The bike will be in in around two weeks, all set up and ready to roll. I live in southern New Jersey and in a few weeks I think I will be ready to ride with other bents. How many of us are there? I know of about 3 people with bents near me. Thanks,

    Im going to be riding on the Tour de Pines on Saturday. Starts at Batsto villiage at 8-830 saturday. Im also doing the Lower Bank No Drop ride from Lower bank inn.

    (On sunday that is....)

    Sounds like a really beautiful ride. Is this ride for everyone or just bents? I'll have to practice a lot on my own when I get my bike. I don't think I'll be ready for "prime time" for several weeks! I felt very comfortable by the time I was done, but I know there are many techniques I have yet to master (turning being one) before I can safely ride with a group.

    Let me know how today's ride goes!
