    Welcome Brick. Good to see you posting. I'm In North Carolina at
    Nashville for Christmas with family. I visit here 2 or 3 times a year,
    depending on what the kids need help with etc. Have not found a
    place to ride, but have been looking at the Raleigh area.

    Just found this site...I live in Statesville, NC and ride a RANS StratusXP. Presently I am working in Arkansas so my bike and I are separated. I try to ride it on the few weekends I am able to travel home.

    I am fortunate as my wife likes to ride...but our ride is a Trek T100 tandem. We do Brett's ride every year. We also did the Tour de Pig and had a blast passing the pace line on the flats. (All you recumbent riders should know the feeling)

    I really enjoy both the tandem and the Stratus. I (or my wife and I) always get comments...but we also get to ride safely as most people slow down to get a good look at the strange bike.

    Statesville is somewhat hilly so my climbing legs get a workout every ride. I certainly enjoy the downhill reward after a good climb. Nothing like getting the ride upwards to 42-45 MPH.

    Thanks for the greeting AD. I actually have my mountain bike out here so I do get alot of seat time. Heading back home in a week for a 6 day vacation. One might see me on the roads about Statesville.
