Rare, highly sought after Barcroft Columbia tandem Recumbent (short wheelbase). These quick, highly-maneuverable tandems don't come on the market very often so grab it while you can.

It is with great sadness, we are selling our 2003 Barcroft Columbia Tandem Recumbent. At our advanced ages, we've had to succumb to the e-bike craze (yes, we know it's cheating!), and therefore no longer ride the Columbia. It's not just in good condition, but in an amazing (like new) condition (see photos). Not many of these around since Bill Cook sold the company to BentUp Cycles in 2009 and the Columbia was discontinued.

Has the RANS seats with Rad-Loc seat clamp. Seats are very easy to take off and put back on, plus Rans is still in business and can provide parts if need be. The seats are in excellent condition too. These bikes are prized for their short, maneuverable wheelbase, custom Chromoly frame, and top-shelf components. The bike does not come with IPS.

    The original specs:

Dual 20" wheels with Shimano XT Hubs, SUN Rims, and Tioga Comp Pool tires (20x1.75).
    SRAM X-9 rear derailleur,
X-9 Grip shifters, Shimano 105 front derailleur.
    FSA 130mm Octalink tandem crankset.
    RANS handlebar, riser and seats.
    Rad-loc clamps and memory-loc blocks.
    Flip-it stem.
    Kickstand

    Additions:
Cateye Astrale (CC-CD100) (needs new battery)
    Tailight (needs new battery)
Trailer hitch (for towing toddler or pet)
Rear rack included (not attached, provided separately) (see photos)

The bike as currently set up is 77" long from end to end of the frame.
