I never saw a motorcycle carry a bike before! Too bad it wasn't a recumbent.

    A Follow-up

That was not a Guy riding the Scoot, it was a lady  riding the Burgman 400.
This was the not first time that I have seen this, but was unable to track her down to find out how this was done, at least until now. The company is C2C Cycles out of Atlanta. I don't have the card with me but when I get back to the office I will post it here for you. It is ingenious to say the least. It will work with any two wheeled SWB Bent don't know about the trikes?
RE: The Canoe/Kayak if you go to the Instructables Web Site they have simple plans on how to build a Kayak trailer for your bike. I was going to build my own trailer but because I am all thumbs I gave up and went and bought me a BOB.

    coast to coast tour

I am working on a coast to coast tour next June of 2013.I will be using the adventure cycling maps for the Northern Tier.I will be riding my tour easy as usual. My plan is to ride between 40 and 60 miles a day, depending on hills and weather conditions.I intend on camping as much as possible with a motel here and there and some rest days.I will be 68 years old next year and i am slow.I do not know if anyone out there would be interested or even have the time to do such a long trip but i thought i would ask.
