Actually, they don't call it 'global warming' anymore. Their predictions were wrong so many times that nobody believed them, so they started calling it 'climate change.' That way, no matter what the weather does, it proves they were right! Cold in winter -- see? Warm in summer? Aha! Right again! Al Gore wins!

Someone carved an ice statue of Good Ole Al last week. They bored a hole in the back (how far down?) and out his mouth and attached a piece of flex pipe to it. Other end to exhaust of a badly-tuned pickup truck exhaust. Then by blowing smoke up his ... it comes out his mouth. Hail Al!
Call it what you will. Right now I'm staring at a scary radar full of 'climate change' had kicked in. May be up to our knees in 'climate change' by morning.

You rode in sand???that seems like it would be rather difficult to do. Considering I wiped out one just riding on black top and hit a patch of sand that had drifted from a sand road on to the highway. One good wipe out and I steered clear of any sand from then on.

    Pretty pictures though, really nice.

Somehow we don't get much comment on the monsoons, tornados, hurricanes, hot/humid summer, crowds, and other perks of living there. Sour grapes? Not really. Refer to my recent diatribe on God's Country. But I must admit my plan to head that general direction in a few weeks. 46 days of winter left.

You have to swap your go-fasters for balloon tires then let about half the air out and you can go fairly (kinda) good. :jiggy9:

at times it was difficult riding in the sand as it would sink down but my Marathon tires pulled me through though I had never used any of my granny gears until then...tires were at about 70 psi..about 1600 miles on them and still going strong...
