    List,

I have a 1999-2000 V-rex and am trying to find fenders for the 20"/26" wheel combo. If you have a set, know where some might be, or can recommend a way to retrofit a currently available set, please let me know.

    Thanks!

Thanks Rocket for the kind reply.

I don't have a rear rack (but do have a big seat bag) so your idea might work great for me.

I see that the fenders are pretty small (i.e. only cover maybe 1/3 of each wheel). I take it that is sufficient to keep the water spray off you, your rear bag and lower frame? Keeping the weight down is important...but I would sacrifice some weight for better water shielding.

You know how it is with this model bike. I am getting covered with water/dirt everytime I am caught out in the rain. :)

    Thanks again for your help.

BTW...what kind of rear rack is that? It looks quite stylish and well made.

It works just fine. No spray in front. A little bit on the end of my bike bag in back but I could put a rubber shield extender on the rear fender to stop the problem. I just try not to ride in rain!!!

It is a Townie rack made for a Townie bicycle but works and looks great on a V Rex. It is not perfectly level (slight incline) but you would never notice it. It works great and does have some style to it. And it was easy to mount to my V Rex.
