Jim had these bikes built by Haluzak when BikeE moved overseas.Does anyone collect Haluzak bikes.Jim said that they only built 10 of these bikes. I will try to send you a pic. from my new Iphone. Thanks and have a great day Mike

I don't remember any mention of a Bike-E knock-off made by Haluzak. Will be interested in seeing a pic. Are you sure it's not a Redbent?

I visited PeopleMovers once. The shop was tiny, almost postage-stamp size. But he did a big Internet business and the back warehouse area was huge.

I could not turn up an account for Sneezer299 on photobucket :embarrassed9:, however Google led me to your account (via a tube radio forum) so here's a link to the bike pictures!

    BikeE knock off by Haluzak.

Thanks for the help A.D. I think Jim may still be around Orange Ca. I will try to find a phone # and get some history on these bikes. I think he might be raising some hobby chickens as he loved to do.I just attempted to post a pic. of Jim but it will not post it.I guess I need a few more post till I can do that.

    REDBENT

Blazing Pedals what is a Redbent? I do not ride much anymore but would like to see a post of that bike. Was it built by Haluzak? Jim had so many crazy bikes at People Movers, one day I saw a bike for a one legged rider, just one pedal.I think the other half of the crank was done with the post of the handlebars .He also had one that pumped like an Irish mail cart.I rode a under seat steering that folded up to haul in the motor home. Can't think of the name of it.

Recumbent Barn was selling their store-brand as low-end bents. There was a BlackBent and a RedBent. I think the BlackBent was SWB and the Red was LWB. Or was it the other way around??? Anyway, they were entirely forgettable and didn't last long. In fact their terribleness may have contributed to the store's eventual demise.
