I just picked up my new toy. It is a Trident Two Wheels Is Good (TWIG) folding recumbent bicycle. I wanted a travel recumbent I could fold and stick in my car. I rode one last year at SMRR and was really impressed with its handling and small folding footprint.

Here is a picture of it.

Don't have time to play with it yet (Doctor's orders) but next week hopefully I will write up my impressions of it.

    Nice.
Gets me thinking maybe I could get a similar folding type for those rare occasions I need to catch a train with a bike. [ if your bike folds then you dont have to pay for extra seat cost to cover bike space.]

Well I need to lengthen the chain because of my long legs before I start riding it. But here is a picture from the Trident Trike website.

Click here to go to their website for more information. They give all the dimensions and specs there.

I plan to do a write up and pictures when I get it fixed up and put some miles on it.

I think the twig is a good bike. Great for travelling, you can just fold it up and go.I have one for sale that I have had on consignment if anyone is interested. Its green.
