I had all of these ready for sale at beginning of February except a couple of components which took me a SOLID MONTH to get. I'm really sorry. In any case, we still have these bikes and want to sell them. These are 27 speed bikes with rapidfire trigger shifters.

    Price: $995 + shipping.

Here is what we have: Brand new recumbent bicycles at greatly reduced price. I have some old bicycle stock to sell and we are getting rid of several of these
bikes before we introduce our new bikes. These are frames that were made by a major bike company in Oregon. We can't sell these under their brand name. We have decided to sell these with a one year frame warranty so they will be sold at a greatly reduced price. The component group is a mix of entry level and enthusiast level components. You would be hard pressed to find a new bike of this quality ANYWHERE in the recumbent world for this price. The Bacchetta Cafe comes close, but is still $155 more expensive.

We have one black Hepcat and one seafoam blue Canto that will have disk brakes. These will cost a little more ($245 more) because...well, let's face it, it's more expensive to add disk brakes and lace up wheels with disc brake hubs. By the way, the disk brake wheels will be ZAC-19 front and back with the black on silver scheme.

We also have 1 green Django and about 6 red Djangos. We have ONE Koosah long wheel base bike.
I have one Red Limbo that is not assembled yet.
Tektro V brakes, Acera rear derailer, SRAM PC-950 9 speed cassette 11-34, Shimano 2203 front derailleur, ZAC 519 Weinmann rims, black, with black hubs (559r, 406f), Krayton grips, Kenda Kwest 100psi tires, Truvativ Isoflow crank 48-38-28, Kalloy black handlebars, adjustable tilt stem, Burley adjustable recumbent seat (2007 model), KMC 9 speed chain, Shimano Rapid Fire R-440 shifters, Bulletproof brake handles, Black chromoly fork.

I am only showing the koosah and the green Django in the pics. I will have pics of the Canto and Hepcat soon. We also have new black idlers on the bikes rather than the amber colored idlers shown in the pics.

Nice write-up Jon, you too Mike. :cool9: I found your beginner vs. experienced rider comments particularly insightful, and economical to boot!

Whoever took those pictures in your write-up Jon, they did a good job. That RED frame really stands out and looks like great fun to ride.

And congats to Bill for getting things rolling with the new bike company! It certainly looks like things are off to a good start. :biggrin9:

I went to Greenlee's to have some work done and saw the SWB Django. It's a lot smaller that I thought it would be, would make a great bike for an apartment dweller. The frame looks very solid - no excessive flex here.

    BTW, what a great shop!

That is the ONLY shop I take my bent to. Greenlees is the best. If you haven't tried it, you should!!!

I am new to recumbents and cant really seam to find a good dealer around my area. I am short so I am having a hard time getting fitted, and the sales people seem to want to rush through a sale. Do you make custom bikes, and if so how much would one cost. I am saving up, I have 800 ready now and can add about 100 each week.
If you can help that would be awesome if not I appreciate any ideas you might have.
