Unfortunately, I still have one more tooth to go. The top ones were no problem. I didn't need pain tablets except for the ones the dentist gave me before she did the extractions. Not the least little ache except when I did something silly like forget teeth had been pulled and chewed on the wrong side.

I'm not looking forward to the last tooth. It will be oral surgery as well and more complicated as the tooth is growing out of the part of the mandible where it makes the curve upward to hinge with the skull. The crown sits almost at a right angle with the tooth beside it. :eek9:

It turned out a little warmer than forecasted, but still quite windy so I went for a ride after work instead of going to gym. Looked at Bike Journal's club report and I finally got out front of all the Tennessee riders (for the present), now to chase down the Australians.

Hi Britt, yes " chase down the Aussies " , that should be getting easier as our Weather has been ordinary of late. Had some cyclones pass by Northern Australia and dumping huge rainfall.
    - I have trouble trying to fit in the longer rides due to time constraints, so been doing lots of short rides . I may have trouble keeping up my 1000 km per month [ 620 miles ] as winter makes it uncomfortable.
Good to see that our Bike Journal Club listing is up pretty high in the 37 th spot , Well done people .

So picked up a second-hand ICE B2 recumbent on Saturday and spent an hour or so trying not to fall off it, then on Sunday it was time to ride it on the roads for real. Just under 30 miles with a couple of steep climbs and some roads with heavy traffic. i can't say it was a totally relaxed experience, but i did enjoy it and I'm sure it will be awesome once I feel at home on it. It's a bit different to 3 wheels !

Give it some time. It is a new learned skill. I started out on a trike and it took me a couple of months before I got the hang of my 2 wheel V Rex. Going from the V Rex to my Strada was much easier since I had learned most of my balancing on the V Rex.

I think you will find you will start using 2 wheels more than 3 wheels. I find they are faster, just as comfortable (once you get the hang of it) and easier to transport. But don't forget to unclip BEFORE you stop!!!! And I liked the looks of your ICE B2.

Go to ride yesterday. Glorious day. Only 16.7 miles. It looks like this year just is not going to be a bicycle riding year for me. I have less than 200 miles in and it is April already.

    Geeesh! :sad9:

    April 1st

I got to ride 27.55 miles along our river trail here. Wonderful ride, it was 66 degrees and light wind. On our club page on Bike Journal I just passed my first Aussie, though one on injury list. Now to track down the other, have three other Americans to track down first, but have my sights set on Glenn.

    Bike eating pot hole

My loving and trusting wife dropped me off at a softball practice with my glove and my bike. A little over 20 miles later I was back at home after almost being eaten by one very large pot hole.

Had to take the Catrike 700 in for a 100 mile checkup. Really nothing wrong but I had screwed up the shifter adjustments. Mark fixed in 5 minutes what I had tried to do for nearly an hour.

Jon, now that you have the Corsa, change your posting signature.

ICE did make some nice bikes, but they were only in production for a few years. They said they just didn't have demand for them for the cost.
